My first session is always focuses on diagnosing the student’s bottleneck. Sometimes, it's a lesson from algebra that never got internalized. Sometimes it' has to do with study logistics nobody thought to ask about. And sometimes it’s an education that taught the student to follow rules, but not how to express themselves.
I document my findings and suggest the best course of action, even if it doesn’t include my services. My objective is to help, not waste people’s time.

How It Works
AP Calculus / SAT Math
1. Session one, with report
We work real problems for 60 minutes. I watch how things go wrong, not just where, and ask about the schedule and logistics behind them. You get findings in writing.
2. Targeted four-week block
Weekly sessions aimed at the finding, not at whatever is due Friday. Booked as a block, invoiced up front, no long-term contract.
3. Week-four check against findings
Progress is measured against the original report. Continuing is a decision we make on the record — not a subscription that renews itself.
College Essay
1. Session one, with report

$150 flat. Detailed report included.
Ongoing Test Prep Tutor Sessions
$100-175 / hr based on subject, time, and location.

Essay Coaching: The Complete Package
(Includes Finding Your Story)
Unlimited coaching until all essays and supplemental materials for the season are complete. 72-hour response time on drafts. Note: If applying to many schools with writing-intensive requirements, your fee may be charged at a higher price tier.
$1400 if applying to 1-5 schools.
$2200 if applying to 6-10 schools.
$2600 if applying to 11+ schools.
Payment for The Complete Package is 50% due at signing and the remaining 50% due at the first submission deadline.
