My first session is always focused on diagnosing the student’s bottleneck. Sometimes, it's a lesson from algebra that never got internalized. But other times, it has to do with time management or study techniques.
I document my findings and suggest the best course of action, even if it doesn’t include my services. My objective is to help, not waste people’s time.

How It Works

We work through my diagnostic problem set. I watch how errors happen, not just where, and ask about schedule, sleep, and workload. You get findings in writing.

I enact the lesson plan I’ve developed using the findings from the report, making adjustments depending on the student’s pace.

A postmortem helps us determine to what extent the tutoring was successful, and if additional blocks should be scheduled to target other areas.

The First Hour
$150 flat. Detailed report included.
Post-Diagnostic Tutor Sessions
$110-175 / hr based on subject, time, and location.
